In the past twenty years hundreds of infants and young children have died after being left in vehicles, usually by accident. When turning the vehicle off, drivers of the Q6 e-tron Sportback are reminded to check the back seat if they opened the rear door before starting out. The Gravity doesn’t offer a back seat reminder.

In a Vehicle-to-Vehicle Frontal Crash Prevention 2.0 test conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the Audi Q6 e-tron Sportback achieved a “Good” rating - the highest possible - for its performance in forward collision warning and automatic braking systems, demonstrating its excellent capabilities in preventing collisions. The Lucid Motors Gravity has not been tested.

Earlier warning of stopped traffic, traffic signals, dangerous road conditions, weather, or accidents, can keep driver's safer and prevent crashes. The Q6 e-tron Sportback has Car-to-X Services, a system that seamlessly communicates important warnings to the driver about impending danger, if they're available. The Gravity doesn’t offer a system that can receive automated systems from infrastructure or other vehicles.

The Audi Q6 e-tron Sportback offers an optional Top View Cameras and it also offers an optional rear camera washer to make backing always safe, regardless of road dirt or grime, while the Lucid Motors Gravity doesn’t offer a camera washer, requiring manual cleaning.

The Q6 e-tron Sportback has a standard Audi Connect CARE, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to remotely unlock your doors if you lock your keys in, help track down your vehicle if it’s stolen or send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The Gravity doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly.

Both the Q6 e-tron Sportback and the Gravity have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, post-collision automatic braking systems, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning, driver alert monitors and available around view monitors.

The Audi Q6 e-tron Sportback has achieved the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) highest rating of “Top Safety Pick Plus” for the 2026 model year. This distinction is based on its exceptional performance in IIHS’ rigorous battery of safety tests. Specifically, it earned a “Good” rating in the latest, more stringent moderate overlap front crash test, a “Good” result in the updated side impact test, a “Good” score in the revised pedestrian crash prevention test, and a “Good” score in the revised vehicle-to-vehicle crash prevention test. The Gravity has not yet been evaluated by the IIHS for 2026.

The Q6 e-tron Sportback’s corrosion warranty is 2 years longer than the Gravity’s (12 vs. 10 years).

Audi pays for scheduled maintenance (up to 1 visits) on the Q6 e-tron Sportback for 1 year and 6000 miles longer than Lucid Motors pays for maintenance for the Gravity (3/30,000 vs. 2/24,000).

There are almost 7 times as many Audi dealers as there are Lucid Motors dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Q6 e-tron Sportback’s warranty.

On the EPA test cycle the Q6 e-tron Sportback with its standard motors gets better mileage than the Gravity Grand Touring 22-23" Wheels (110 city/97 hwy vs. 102 city/94 hwy MPGe).

The Audi Q6 e-tron Sportback may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 550 to 700 pounds less than the Lucid Motors Gravity.

The Q6 e-tron Sportback has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Gravity doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

If the windows are left open on the Q6 e-tron Sportback the driver can close all of them at the outside door handle. On a hot day the driver can lower the windows at the outside door handle or from a distance using the keyless remote. The driver of the Gravity can only operate the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Q6 e-tron Sportback to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The Gravity doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the Q6 e-tron Sportback has a standard rear wiper. The Gravity doesn’t offer a rear wiper.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Q6 e-tron Sportback SQ6/Prestige has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The Gravity doesn’t offer headlight washers.

The Q6 e-tron Sportback’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Gravity’s power mirror controls are embedded in the infotainment system, seriously distracting drivers who have to adjust them while driving.

When the Q6 e-tron Sportback is put in reverse, both rearview mirrors tilt from their original position. This gives the driver a better view of the curb during parallel parking maneuvers. Shifting out of reverse puts the mirrors into their original positions. The Gravity’s mirrors don’t automatically adjust for backing.

The Q6 e-tron Sportback’s standard rear and side view mirrors have an automatic dimming feature. These mirrors can be set to automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on them, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver. The Gravity has an automatic rear view mirror, but its side mirrors don’t dim.

The Audi Q6 e-tron Sportback outsold the Lucid Motors Gravity by almost 16 to one during 2025.
